ABOUT NORTHERN EXPOSURE RESCUE
Northern Exposure Rescue is a registered charity that provides rescue boats to community and sporting events across the country on a not for profit basis.
For over the last decade we have supported some of the most prestigious events based on or near water. We can not only provide rescue boats but also mark laying and marshal boats. Our volunteers can also act as event safety officers and safety advisors to help ensure your event runs without a hitch. We have also provided detailed risk assessments, event safety handbooks and standard operating techniques for event organisers.
We use RIBs and other low freeboard boats to support events using qualified and experienced volunteers. We own a small number of RIBs and we use other RIBs belonging to our volunteers to supplement our fleet where required. This gives us access to a very diverse range of vessels from fast 4m zapcats up to large offshore RIBs.

Over the years we have developed valuable relationships with navigation authorities, police and ambulance organisations and also various sport governing bodies. As a result we understand how they operate and their expectations to ensure events run safely.
We operate in accordance with recommendations made by the Royal Yachting Association and use their established powerboat handling scheme to ensure our volunteers are appropriately qualified.
