Northern Exposure Rescue is a registered charity but also a constituted club.
We are always looking to strengthen our team and new volunteers are always given a warm welcome whatever your background.
Volunteering with Northern Exposure Rescue is a great opportunity to develop yourself, learn new skills and support your community.
We provide training, support and equipment to our volunteers to keep them safe and make the best contribution to water safety. We do need the right people. If you have ambition, commitment and enthusiasm we would be delighted to meet you.
If you are considering volunteering with Northern Exposure Rescue you must be able to spare two weekends a year to attend events and be willing to undertake training such as RYA Powerboat, VHF Operators Licence and First Aid qualifications.
We also ask that volunteers pay a small membership fee of £10/year
Memberships forms and further information can be obtained by emailing:
We have a range of benefits that are open to all our volunteers from discounted clothing, advice and guidance, discounted equipment, access to some great boats, social trips to practise our boating skills in new places and get to know each other better, subsidised training courses, plus mileage and experience building trips.
